Introducing for this Christmas, Kranebet: A New Italian Botanic Juniper Liqueur

This Autumn sees the launch of Kranebet Italian botanic juniper liqueur in the UK. Produced in Italy by Rossi d'Asiago distillers since 1924, it is an award-winning and aromatic liqueur which is rich in juniper.

Originally a popular pharmaceutical elixir, Kranebet uses carefully selected ingredients and artisanal distillation techniques creating a harmonious spirit, free from artificial flavouring and colours.

Delicious in a sophisticated version of a G&T or a decadent Negroni, Kranebet is perfect for gin lovers looking to explore something new in the world of juniper.

Kranebet, is made through the slow distillation of hand-picked juniper berries, using a traditional copper still at the Rossi d'Asiago distillery. Other botanicals include gentian root, roman absinthe, coriander seeds and quassia bark, which bring delicate bitter and herbaceous notes with hints of wood.

The name Kranebet comes from the cimbric word “kraneveta” that literally means “bitter grains”, the name given to the juniper plant by the Cimbrian population that used to live in the Italian pre-Alps.

Kranebet can be enjoyed neat, chilled on the rocks, or mixed in the KranebeTonic, a delicious and refreshing botanical aperitif. The characteristic aromaticity and sweetness make it ideal to be mixed in plentiful cocktails, including an exclusive series created by multi award-winning bartender and founder of Kwant, Erik Lorincz.

Suggested Serve: KranebeTonic

The Rossi D'Asiago distillery was founded in 1868 in Asiago, an enchanted small town in the Italian mountains, by the pharmacist Rossi, who created elixirs and distillates by infusion of medicinal herbs.

In 1924 Rossi created Kranebet, which soon became a recognized brand in the local territory. Rossi D'Asiago is also the producer of internationally recognized brands such as Antica Sambuca and Volare Liqueurs.

Bounce Back!

It's easy to drink maybe one more cocktail than was wise, or to have watched one more version of A Christmas Carol than was perhaps wise in the middle of the night.

But someone, somewhere over the Christmas and New Year period, will feel a little bit jaded, a little bit worn out.

Sometimes a strong cup of coffee just doesn't cut the mustard. So what should you do instead? You should Bounce Back!

What is Bounce Back? Bounce Back is a special reviving drink that helps you to bounce back.

It wasn't just something that was lashed together! No, indeed. Bounce Back was carefully designed by two Scottish-based biochemists, Dhruv Trevedi and Vandana Vijay.

They worked long and hard on getting the formula just right. In fact, they created 59 versions of Bounce Back before they finally hit on the correct version.

It's a unique drink that has a scientifically perfected recipe of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids which work together with the body’s natural restoration process to help alleviate the stresses and strains of an active social life, allowing the body to feel refreshed the next day.

Ramsbury Estate Vodka

Ramsbury Estate Vodka is an amazing single estate vodka from the English county of Wiltshire. Where it is also distilled.

It is distilled at the Ramsbury Estate's Stockclose Farm.

It's an amazing vodka which is as smooth as silk, which has a distinctive yet subtle vanilla taste to it, yet with a creamy, buttery ending to the flavour.

There are also fruity notes and a touch of chocolate, with hints of caramel.

It's an ideal drink by itself, on the rocks, with soda, lemonade or with mixers such as Indian tonic water. Also make a wonderful base for my wife's freshly squeezed orange juice vodka and orange cocktail.

Also makes a good combination with other spirts to make a wide range of cocktails.

Everything in this heavenly vodka is harvested on the Ramsbury Estate. And they do mean everything! The timber used to feed their bio-mass boiler, to the winter wheat they use in the distilling process which is harvested from a single field from their farm. When you buy your bottle of Ramsbury Estate Vodka you will be able to note the exact grid reference at the base of the label on the bottle.

To learn more and to buy directly, please visit them at https://ramsbury.com/product/vodka.

A 700ml, 43% ABV bottle costs £29.50.

The website also contains a whole host of cocktail recipes and detailed information on the history and story of the vodka and their estate.

Also, check out their equally tasty gin, too!

Both Ramsbury Estate Vodka and Ramsbury Estate Gin are ideal for your Christmas cocktail cabinet.
