Take time out for Costa coffee, this Christmas season

Everyone knows about the delicious range of coffees at Costa.

But, perhaps not so widely known about are the special seasonal items that Costa places on their menu every Christmas.

Not only are there special drinks there are some other, equally special and equally delicious seasonal food items, too.

For example you can try one of the following items from the Costa menu:-

Starting with the drinks, there's a somewhat bewildering choice of: Gingerbread & Cream Latte (EDITOR: This is my favourite!), Brownie Hot Chocolate , Orange Hot Chocolate, Sticky Toffee Latte, Praline Cappucino, White Hot Chocolate, Black Forest Hot Chocolate. All delicious and a delightful pick me up when out battling your Christmas shopping!

And, as I mentioned, there's the special foods, too. Turkey and the Trimmings, Cheese and Cranberry Topped Toastie and the Brie, Bacon and Cranberry Panini.

And for a neat sweat dessert treat, there's Gingerbread Muffin, Cherry and Almond Muffin, Mince Tart, Christmas Cornflake Crunch,   Mini Chocolate Cake,  Salted Caramel Yule Log, and Festive Teacake.

Looking for a lighter bite? Stollen Bites, Chocolate and Cherry Mini Tartlet,  Orange and Cranberry Mini Tartlet,  Caramel Hazelnut Mini Tartlet, and Hot Spiced apple. (EDITOR: Stollen bites? Served with a Ginergerbread and Cream Latte? Wow! Now I am in Heaven!)

And to keep the little ones happy and content (whilst allowing them to get into the festive spirit by being creative, too!)  Costa has 'ice your own' Ginerbread biscuits. What a super idea!

(EDITOR: It's also good to see that people like my wife who is gluten intolerant are catered for by Costa. There are Gluten Free Turkey, Bacon and Cranberry Wraps and some Gluten Free Christmas cake, too! And vegetarians don't need to feel left out, as the special Christmas sandwich range has a Cheeseboard Panini with Festive Chutney specially for you!)

Looking for a suitable Christmas gift for the Costa lover? Then you can buy them some festive ceramic mugs that are sold in store for £7.95 and come in four cute Christmas characters - Santa, Reindeer, Elf and Snowman.

You can also buy them Costa gift cards, too!
